When do we want our rights? Now!
It’s now up to every one of us to tell Beacon Hill, We want our rights now!
There are only a few days left for us to reach out to the Joint Committee on the Judiciary and to your area state senator and representative to keep H3868 moving. Your voice does make a difference! When that bill becomes law with your help, we will have a new office of the tenant advocate in the Office of the Attorney General. The tenant advocate will help assure our right to be free of bullying, mobbing, and hostile environment harassment and thus safeguard our right to enjoy our homes in peace and safety. The tenant advocate will be able to hold landlords and their managers accountable for their legal obligation to prevent hostile environment harassment.
Call or write and tell our legislators how urgent it is to pass the legislation, H3868 to create the office of the tenant advocate to assure us our rights.
Let’s do this now! We want our rights now!
Written testimony may be submitted to the Joint Committee on the Judiciary at 24 Beacon Street, Room 136, Boston, MA 02133.

I am NAME, I live in TOWN OR CITY, and I support H3868 to create the office of the tenant advocate. I urge the Joint Committee to give a favorable report on this important legislation to protect tenants from bullying, mobbing, and hostile environment harassment.

Looking to the future, we’re seeking to expand our active network of advisors and leaders all across the Commonwealth. We thrive on a diversity of viewpoints and need a variety of skills to benefit every tenant. Are you interested? If so, write or call to explore the opportunities.
